The 11th Cyprus Jazz & World Music Showcase 2024 is set to enliven the Rialto Theatre in Limassol from December 6 to 8, 2024. This esteemed event, organized by the Department of Modern and Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture alongside the Rialto Theatre, offers a vibrant platform for local musicians to exhibit their original compositions in jazz and world music. Over the course of three days, attendees will be treated to performances by 14 bands, featuring more than 60 talented musicians.
Each evening’s program is thoughtfully curated to showcase a diverse array of musical styles. For instance, on Friday, December 6, the lineup includes Mr. Wilson, The Gandalfinis, Numina, and Krúe. The following day features the Michalis Kouloumis Quartet, Ioanna Troullidou, the Ermis Michail Quartet, and The Kicker Band. The final evening presents Nabuma and the MorFarm Big Band Co. Complementing the main stage performances, parallel events will occur adjacent to the theatre, featuring acts like Burek Duo and Sis I Cracked My Head Open, followed by engaging jam sessions each night.
